We did what we knew.
Two people can love each other and still be unhealed. We learned how easy it is to call survival “personality” when pain has been driving for years.
Mishlĕ 14:12 • A way can look right and still lead wrong.
No pedestal • No performance
We are not sharing a polished biography. We are opening the real pages: young parenthood, loss, marriage, family, correction, survival, healing, and the slow work of becoming.
Before the ministry name
KD Love became a mother at fifteen. Before her first son ever took his first breath, his father was violently taken from this earth. Grief and motherhood arrived in the same season. There was no clean little pause between being a child and being responsible for one.
Kirk and KD married young. By nineteen, she was pregnant with their third child. They were not walking into marriage as healed experts. They were carrying histories, survival habits, responsibility, stubbornness, dreams, wounds, and a house that kept filling with children who needed them to grow up while raising them.
Before the platform. Before the album. The beginning. The truth about surviving
Sometimes “strong” meant KD did not feel safe enough to fall apart. Sometimes it meant Kirk carried pressure quietly because everybody needed something from him. Sometimes ahavah looked tender. Sometimes it looked like two tired people learning that staying in the same house is not the same thing as doing the work.
Their story includes mistakes, hard seasons, sharp words, fractured trust, financial weight, parenting pressure, grief, repentance, and correction. It also includes laughter that made their stomachs hurt, children who gave them reasons to mature, and mercy that kept meeting them in rooms where pride had run out of speeches.
Two people can love each other and still be unhealed. We learned how easy it is to call survival “personality” when pain has been driving for years.
Mishlĕ 14:12 • A way can look right and still lead wrong.
Deliverance was not just rebuking darkness around us. It was allowing the Word to expose darkness, pride, anger, fear, and harmful agreements within us.
Iḇ`rim 12:6 • Yahuah disciplines those He loves.
We had to learn boundaries, honesty, accountability, and the difference between keeping peace and walking in truth. Healing was not one emotional night. It became a practice.
Ya’aqob 1:22 • Become doers of the Word.
Eight biological children, more who call us Mama and Pops, and a growing circle of grandbabies changed the question. It stopped being only “Can we survive?” It became “What will survive through us?”
Tehillim 78:4 • Tell the coming generation His praises.
What Yahuah did not waste
The lesson was never that we got everything right. The lesson is that Yahuah can take a house full of imperfect people and teach them how to repent, forgive, tell the truth, laugh again, and leave the next generation something healthier than what they inherited.
“I have arrived, yet I’m still becoming.”KD Love

Still becoming
Yahuah is. Yahusha is the reason redemption has a name. Ruach Ha’Qodesh is still guiding, correcting, and teaching us. We are not finished. We are simply no longer ashamed to tell the truth about the road.
